Day 5 - Still Super Excited About New School!

I was super excited to see Cooper's first painting in his cubby. He explained that it was Bumblebee's head. I will post a picture of it soon.

Cooper showed me the class' caterpillars and told Mrs. Rosenketter the following, "I learned about caterpillars on Little Einsteins, they would turn into "beautiful butterflies and fly away." Mrs. Rosenketter told Cooper he knows a lot about caterpillars.

Cooper learned how to put his name up on the attendance board. jlp

Weekend Fun

What a weekend.

Friday - Cooper helped Daddy start the basement!

  • Saturday - Cooper and I both enjoyed our afternoon playdate with Cole, Miles and William.
  • Sunday - My basketball shoes are now Cooper's basketball shoes. He wore them for about 5 hours - including a trip to the Assi house. Yes, they stay on his feet and he can run!

Day 3 - Cooper made the paper!

Mr. Schimmelpfinnig showing Cooper the crickets he caught as "food". He asked Cooper if he knew that the crickets had to be alive or the frogs won't eat them. Of course, Cooper said yes.

Cooper's picture is in Forsyth's First Paper of the Year!

Day 2 - Pre-K

August 27, 2009 - He ate his waffle and a couple berries. No rush, we left at a good time.

Arrived at 7:45. Parking lot was empty. Walked right in. Mrs. Ruddy introduced us to Mrs Dodd, she watches kids before 8. We went out to the swings and he swung, below is Mrs. Dodd giving a push. I pushed Cooper, and then three other kids, until 8. We then went inside and Mrs. Ruddy welcomed him, asked him what he wanted to do first, and he said puzzles. I said goodbye and left. The parking lot was totally packed and things were quite busy.

Day 1 - Forsyth School - Pre-Kindergarten

August 27, 2008 - First day was great. Parking lot was a nightmare but drop-off was a breeze. Mrs. Ruddy greeted us and Cooper sat down with the puzzles. He said good-bye and that was it.

When I picked him up, Ms Koch said he had a great day. Cooper was wiped out. He wanted to take a bath at 7 and was in bed by 7:45.

Cooper quotes -

  • "I played with Alice."
  • "I raced with Cole and Myles. I looked for the other one and couldn't find him."
  • "I played on the climber."
  • "We read books, I don't remember the names."
  • "We had red jormal and green jiimal for lunch and I didn't like it."
